Biography

Dr. Zokhri Idris has held some academic positions in International Relations research and teaching, currently a founder and a partner of Eirene Research. His area of research focuses on the changing nature of diplomacy and sovereignty of developing nations, especially Malaysia. Currently, Dr. Zokhri serves as a senior faculty member of Faculty of Business and Professional Studies, MSU after completing his industrial attachment at Puncak Niaga Management Services as an assistant manager serving the Strategic Resources and Government Relations Division. His research activities varied from a local-setting to a regional-setting agenda research companies both in Putrajaya and in Seoul. He holds a Doctorate Degree in IR, looking into International Terrorism proliferation and states’ counterterrorism policies, expanding into the ambits of historical narratives, regional context, and country’s foreign policies. Dr. Zokhri aims to build Eirene Research as an academic forum specializing in Leadership, Research and Diplomacy.
